    About AirCARE1

AirCARE1 was founded by Denise Waye, a registered nurse who worked as a critical care and flight nurse. Ms. Waye loved her job but was frustrated by the lack of formal training and felt that there was a better way to offer air ambulance services to patients in need. With that, AirCARE1 was founded over a decade ago. AirCARE1 owns and operates a fleet of Learjets which transport patients safely and quickly to the medical help they need and/or back home after a medical emergency.

Our mission statement at AirCARE1 is to “Do what is right for our patient at all times as we transport them with exceptional care equal to or better than the best premiere medical facility.”

    Our Commitment to Safety

AirCARE1 is committed to ensuring that the patient is safe and comfortable throughout their journey. To achieve this, we train our medical staff and equip them with the skills needed to ensure our patients’ safety. We conduct continuous, rigorous training for our staff, which both meets and exceeds the industry standards and regulations. We hire only the best at AirCARE1 which help ensure proper patient safety while providing top quality care and comfort to all types of patients during transport. With thousands of flights under our belt and over a decade in business, we are proud to maintain a perfect safety record.

    Dual Accreditation

We are committed to providing excellent air ambulance services as we transport you to your destination, whether flying to or from Roswell, New Mexico. Our commitment to operational excellence has earned us dual accreditation from both the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS) and European Aeromedical Institute (EURAMI). Dual accreditation is a rarity in our industry and demonstrates our commitment to maintaining the highest level of patient care standards.

    Our Focus on Holistic Care

We are committed to providing a comfortable environment focused on promoting your overall health and wellness. To do this, our medical staff offer noise cancelling headphones that you can put on to keep relaxed. Soothing, therapeutic music may also be played if desired. Our medical team is also trained to provide hand massages that will help relax and reassure the patient. We also utilize aromatherapy treatment using premium quality essential oils and plant extracts that will ease the patient’s pain and keep them relaxed during the flight.

Catering to All Types of Patients

Our air medical team is trained to attend to the needs of all types of patients. Our specialized air ambulance services allow us to cater to neonates/infants, pediatric/children, adults, geriatric/elderly, and bariatric/obese patients. Our Learjets are equipped with NICU equipment for our tiniest infant patients, extra wide doors for our bariatric patients, and extra-thick mattresses for the comfort of all of our patients. Our patients’ comfort and safety are our number one priorities. No matter what type of patient and their condition, AirCARE1 will staff your flight with a team specialized in providing the specific medical care you need.

    State-of-the-Art Medical Equipment

AirCARE1 can be trusted as a reliable air ambulance company, in part, because we rely on state-of-the-art equipment. This includes Airborne Critical Care Units and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) equipment. We use only the best medical equipment to ensure that we are able to provide the highest quality medevac services to our patients. We also strive to meet and surpass the standards set by the International Assistance Group, of which we are proud to be only one of two partners of the IAG in the United States.

Our LifePort patient care system is customized to suit the needs of all patients. This custom developed patient care system allows us to advance the quality of care we provide and solves many of the common patient care issues that one would be faced with using other air ambulance companies.

Each piece of equipment we use is able to provide equal or better care than one would receive in a premier hospital. We are well equipped to provide medical care over long distances and can address any medical situation that may arise during the flight. For the patients who need oxygen or cardiac support, we have you covered.

    Enhanced Comfort & Smooth Ride

AirCARE1 air ambulance services represent the highest level of patient care available. Our Learjet aircraft are custom designed to meet an executive level of standards. The seats are well cushioned for support and enhanced comfort. With these first class interiors, our patients stay comfortable throughout the flight until they reach their final destination.

Our Learjets feature Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum (RVSM) systems to provide a comfortable and safe flight. This enables us to fly higher than many other aircraft of this size and assures our patients of a comfortable, safe, and smooth ride with reduced turbulence.

    Commercial Medical Escort Service

Some patients may not be in a critical condition that requires a Air Ambulance. For these patients, our commercial medical escort services may be an excellent option. This service meets the needs of patients that can comfortably fly in commercial aircraft, but are still in need of medical assistance and supervision.

These patients in non-critical health conditions can also request our services to and from Roswell, New Mexico. Our commercial medical escort services are also ideal for patients looking to be transported over a long distance and even internationally.

We provide our patients with business-class seats to ensure that they stay comfortable during the flight. We offer round-the-clock services and we will keep your family and friends updated on your health. We also arrange private ground services to transport our patients to their destination in comfort.

Patients who qualify for the commercial medical escort service include:

    • Those with non-contagious diseases or conditions such as trapped gas
    • Those that are non-combative
    • Those who are able to sit upright and secure on commercial aircraft
    • Those who need less than 5 liters of supplemental oxygen per minute
    • Those who are medically allowed to have an accompanying companion

AirCARE1’s commercial medical escort services are cost-effective and are a great choice for patients with less critical health conditions.
